Worship at Shepherd of the Hills Christian Church (SHCC) can be characterized as, “traditional with an atmosphere of openness.” Sermons are scripturally based and conversational in nature. The Lord’s Supper or Communion is served every Sunday and is open to all who choose to come to God’s table. When someone asks about Shepherd of the Hills, we often echo our denomination’s statement of identity by answering, “We are the church for recovering Christians.” At SHCC, we strive to follow Jesus’ example of loving God and neighbor (Luke 10:27). We are an open and accepting church family that is committed to spiritual growth and community involvement.
