Book Club

The next Book Club selection is The Guardians by John Grisham. This latest legal thriller by the popular author is about the efforts of Cullen Post, a lawyer turned minister, who founded Guardian Ministries, an innocence project. The story focuses on the wrongful conviction of a black man who has been on death row for over twenty years for the murder of a white lawyer. The people who are actually guilty of the murder don’t want the truth to come out and that puts Post’s life in danger. We will be discussing this when we meet again on Monday, February 10, at 7:00 p.m. at Red Lotus Asian Grill.
