Outreach
“Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are my family, you did it to me” Matthew 25:40 (NSRV)
Shepherd of the Hills Christian Church is a small, but active, community of believers in Jesus Christ. We are guided in outreach activities by His love for all people.
Over $44,000 in outreach to the greater community was provided in 2010. In addition to the monetary outreach contributions, the entire church reaches out to the larger community through weekly, monthly and holiday collections a well as through many hours of volunteered time to organizations and those in need.
The entire church contributes financially to Outreach through its budget allocation to the Outreach Committee, Christian Women’s Fellowship, Christian Men’s Fellowship, Youth and the Book Club. Members also participate in special offerings to meet needs in the Bluebonnet area as well as in the global community.
