Alvin and Elsie East Scholarship

Applications for the Alvin and Elsie East Scholarship for the 2012-2013 school year are now available in the SHCC office. Students who are or will be engaged in higher education at the college and graduate levels and are members of Austin area Disciples of Christ congregations are eligible to apply. The applications must be postmarked no later than March 1, 2012. If you are unable to pick up an application during office hours, please email Christina and request a pdf form of the document.

Children's Adventure Time

CAT (Children’s Adventure Time) activities are children-focused and geared to provide fellowship among the children of SHCC and their families. We alternate between family-driven, parent-inclusive activities and provide parents with a night out while the kids are at church having a fun and eventful evening. Our first CAT event is:

We encourage you to get ahead of the Valentine's Day date traffic and have an adult night out. The kids will enjoy a pizza dinner, fun games, a special holiday craft, and a movie. We hope to see you there! Just as any successful church event, volunteers are greatly needed. Young or old, come join in the fun!
